Port Community Liaison Committee
The Port Community Liaison Committee (PCLC) is an ongoing mechanism for communication and engagement between the Halifax Port Authority and the larger Halifax community. The purpose of the committee is to foster meaningful communication and information sharing between the Port and members of the public, and to solicit feedback from those affected by port operations and projects. The PCLC is independently chaired and comprised of individuals who represent a broad mix of port city citizens with emphasis on experience, insight and diversity.
New Member Application:
We are currently recruiting for a new member to join the Port Community Liaison Committee! The committee is an ongoing mechanism for communication and engagement between the Halifax Port Authority and the larger Halifax community. The committee is volunteer based and meets once every second month.
Currently, we are recruiting for a new member, between 18-25 years of age.

- Preferred contact phone number and email address
- Please answer the question: What does Port City Halifax mean to you?
We welcome applications from Aboriginal People, African Nova Scotians and Other Racially Visible Persons, Persons with Disabilities and Women. If you are a member of one of the above groups, you are encouraged to self-identify, on your application.
