Ceres celebrates two new super-post-Panamax cranes

Cerescorp and the Port of Halifax celebrated the completion of two new super-post-Panamax cranes at Fairview Cove Container Terminal. These new cranes are now in service at the Fairview Cove Container Terminal.  Ceres has invested $20 million in the new cranes which can unload containers from any size ship in the world.  The cranes will improve terminal efficiency with faster unloading of containers and decreased docking times.

The Halifax Port Authority is a government business enterprise mandated by the Federal Ministry of Transport.
